Dear NO Mission Team Members,
Email sent to us by Leslie this morning……..be confident and be happy….you did not choose to go on this Mission trip, He chose you.
I have a story to share which relates to Leslie’s Being Chosen. I was very sick last Thursday night, and my husband told me that I won’t be able to go. But I was confident that I am going because I did not want to go and He wanted me to go. So I had no doubts that I will be well at the time of the departure. I told my God in prayer that no one can stop me going except Him (if he does not heal me) or if Debi (she is the leader-I have no authority over her) tells me that I am making everyone scared. I went to the doctor and she gave me steroids and inhalers to heal my Asthma, cough and breathing problems. But even the breath hurt my chest, but then I did the unthinkable (nothing to lose)….I grabbed bunch of Kleenex and went to the exercise machine promised my God that I will not do my normal walk. Exercise time is my prayer/conversation time with God too. Well after few minutes…… almost all my problems disappeared and I was able to breathe normal and I did my normal walk of 2.25 miles with the usual speed, without the incline though. But again I got back my breathing problems in the night. I did the same thing on Friday and that is when I knew for sure that I will be completely healed by the power of God to go out on this mission trip.
Yes, when you believe that He has chosen you to go and not willing to give up, He will help you to overcome all your difficulties, problems and health. My sisters in Christ, do not be afraid of obstacles……. be strong…….He is with us on this mission.
James: 5: 16 – Prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
See below reply from one of my prayer partners. She has been my prayer warrior for last 15 years or so. When I went for my Peru Mission, she wrote a daily prayer note for me and also another one for my team. She will be on her knees daily on our behalf. As surely as he has commended us to go, He will be with us in every step of our way. Let’s be prepared to bring honor and glory to God through Christ our Lord.
Love in Christ, Pam
Dear Pam,
You know that I will be on my knees for the glory of God to shine through from each of you as you make this journey in His Name.
Have a beautiful, peaceful week of preparation knowing you are held dear in His Hands.
Peace and love, FHS, Nan

Dear Prayer Partners,
Yes, you would have received my itinerary by now to pray for me and my team for the above mission. I am writing this separate note to let you know that I have selected you ten people (required by our church) as my daily prayer partners for my mission trip. I know and trust that you will join me in this mission in spirit by prayer and in truth.
John 4:24, 23
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
